Nicola Lazenby, Marketing and Exhibition Manager for Salon International shares a preview of this year’s exhibition:

With just under four weeks to go until we open our doors, ExCeL London is literally bracing itself in anticipation for the start of Salon International 2013, which will continue to welcome thousands of hairdressing professionals from both the UK and abroad as they gather for the most spectacular and inspirational hairdressing event in the world – Salon International

The Hair Show will continue to form the hub of the event, displaying products and services from a wide array of exhibitors, allowing visitors to the show an ideal opportunity to try, compare and buy everything and anything a hairdressing professional could need – from salon furniture to software, scissors to straighteners, serum to shampoo and everything in between.  What’s more, there’ll be a number of free live stages throughout the hall, including the Fellowship stage, as well as the HJ Stage, which this year will continue to present a two-hour HJ Men’s slot for each open day of the event.

Our Salon Live schedule will continue to offer a fantastic platform for some of the industry’s most respected and innovative creative teams to present their latest collections of awe-inspiring work.  We are proud to presentSassoonAcademy, Patrick Cameron, Toni&Guy and TIGI Inspirational Youth to the stage for 2013.

New to the Salon Seminars line up for this year is Philip Kingsley Trichology Taster which joins both Mahogany and Saco who will continue to educate the masses with their close up and personal sessions.

Designed with salon owners and managers in mind, Business Extra will offer top tips and practical advice on a wide range of business issues.  Darren & Jackie Ambrose will be talking “Staff Motivation”; Mark Woolley will be sharing his insights on “Creating a Successful Brand”; Stephen Gresty will be getting under the skin of “Emotional Intelligence”; whilst Ken Picton & Sally Learmouth will be discussing “Social Media and PR Solutions”.

As always, we’ve done our utmost to cram in as much as possible to keep our visitors inspired, educated, engaged and most importantly, in the mood for buying.  We look forward to welcoming them and you to what we are sure is set to be yet another successful and rewarding event for all involved.  See you on the 12th October.
